Skills discussed thus far in class:
Posture, Left and right hand/arm shape and movements, block fingering, soft thumbs, soft fingers on bow hand, bow contact (being able to silently wiggle the string with your bow before beginning to play), scales (D Major and G Major), hooked and slurred bowings, differing bow speeds, changing arm angles when going to a new string, rolling (not lifting) bow from string to string, time signatures and subdivisions in duple and triple (compound) meter, introduction to shifting (Countdowns.)
